Since I am starting with all things Cricut, I wanted to share with you what I have learned about their EasyPress 2 Machines. I was lucky enough to get it in two sizes. I also own two of the first generation of the easy press so you may say I am biased as you already know I like the product!

The main difference between the Easy Press machines is the size of the plates on the bottom. I personally prefer the large one, but there are projects (like when custom making bows or pressing onto smaller surfaces) for which the small press works better.

The EasyPress 2 is beautifully packaged and comes in this gorgeous shade of mint. Just in case you were all wondering pastel colors are indeed my favorite and anything light really has my heart. I love this vs the bright blue of the first model! Getting started is super easy. In the box, the press comes with a plastic tray that is gray. That is basically a base for the machine that will prevent surfaces from burning when it is hot (BONUS)!

You can see the base better in this picture. Right next to it is the Cricut EasyPress mat. Totally recommend you get it if you are serious about not burning surfaces. The mat pictured here is a 12 x 12 and is a great size for any project.

I just love the amount of options of materials this company offers. There vinyls, iron ons and other packaged materials are really top quality. The iron ons peel easily and the smart settings of the Cricut Maker cuts them to perfection.

Here’s a closer look at some of the iron on colors they offer. I love that they come in Matt, glitter and foil finishes. There’s literally every color and texture you can imagine.

One of my favorite things to do for events is personalize the throw pillow and this machine is the perfect way to get that done! Here’s a picture of a project we just completed using these amazing Cricut gadgets!
