There’s nothing that makes us happier than when client’s come up with really cool themes. Mariella knew she wanted a lemon themed reception and she fell in love with the Dolce and Gabbana pattern. So much so, as a result she purchased the dress for herself and her two daughter’s to wear on the special day. With a clear design vision in mind we got to designing.

We partnered with Rico from Chrome Event Furnishings to piece this celebration together. With his input the celebration came to life. I knew I wanted to include velvet somehow and found Nuage had the perfect color linen and the ideal pillows for the lounges. Petal Productions stepped it up with the floral design and so this celebration was born.

One of the most unique touches were the hand painted fans Mariella had made in her native country of Ecuador. Even the winter in Miami, is hot and these came super handy on that sunny day.

 

The delicate cake crafted by the hands of the talented confectionary artists at Earth and Sugar was perfect. Sugar flowers and life-like sugar lemons were carefully place throughout the cake. We loved how tall and slim this cake was.
